At CES 2026 in Las Vegas, LG Electronics highlighted its continued commitment to inclusive innovation through its “Design for All” initiative—introducing new accessibility-focused solutions designed to make home appliances easier, safer and more intuitive for people of all ages and abilities.
As part of this showcase, LG expanded its LG Comfort Kit lineup—a growing collection of thoughtfully designed accessories that enhance usability across a wide range of LG home appliances.
What Is “Design for All”?
“Design for All” is a core initiative under LG’s global Better Life for All ESG vision. It reflects LG’s belief that technology should be naturally accessible, intuitive and welcoming—without the need for special adaptations.
Rather than designing only for specific groups, LG focuses on human-centered design that improves everyday experiences for everyone, including seniors, people with disabilities, families and first-time users.

Several of these accessories are scheduled to launch in early 2026, further expanding LG’s accessible home ecosystem.
Inclusive Design in Real Life
The “Design for All” exhibition at LG’s CES booth demonstrated how accessibility can be seamlessly integrated into everyday products.
For customers who are blind or have low vision, LG introduced solutions such as:
- High-contrast visual elements
- Tactile indicators
- Braille-supported touch guides
One example is a color identification sticker for LG robot vacuums, helping users easily recognize the device and reduce the risk of tripping.
For users with mobility or hand-strength challenges, LG Comfort Kit accessories help reduce strain. Easy Handles on washers and dryers, for instance, allow doors to be opened using the arm instead of the hand—supporting greater independence and comfort.
Accessibility Beyond Products
